They need to work hard, need to gather more knowledge. There are many units in Dhaka university. Such as the Ka unit, Kha unit, Ga unit, Gha unit, Cha unit. DU Admission Requirements
Applicants who passed SSC/Equivalent in 2015 to 2018 and HSC/Equivalent in 2020 are eligible to apply at Dhaka University in the 2020-21 session.
Ka Unit Admission Requirements
Ka Unit Subject List: Students from the Faculty of Science, Biology, Pharmacy, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Engineering and Technology and related Sciences and Agricultural Sciences can apply.
Eligible Group: Science and Agriculture and Alim (Science) group student can apply.
Total GPA: GPA 8.00
SSC/Equivalent Result: Minimum GPA 3.50
HSC/Equivalent Result: Minumum GPA 3.50
Kha Unit Admission Requirements
Kha Unit Subject List: All departments of the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Law and the Department of Geography and Environment of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Biology, Social Welfare and Research Institute of Social Welfare, Education and Research Institute of Education, (BAd Honors), Modern Languages Institute. Honors courses in various foreign languages and health economics at the Institute of Health Economics, Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies in the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies.
Eligible Group: Students in humanities disciplines, IGCSE / O Level and IAL / GCE A-Level and equivalent examination those who have at least two humanities subjects can apply.
Total GPA: GPA 7.00
SSC/Equivalent Result: Minumum GPA 3.00
HSC/Equivalent Result: Minumum GPA 3.00
Ga Unit Admission Requirements
Ga Unit Subject List: Business Studies Department.
Eligible Group: Business Studies, IGCSE/O Level, IAL/GCE A Level, Deploma in Business Studies, Deploma in Commerce and Business Management.
Total GPA: GPA 7.50
SSC/Equivalent Result: Minumum GPA 3.50
HSC/Equivalent Result: Minumum GPA 3.50
Gha Unit Admission Requirements
Gha Unit Subject List: Transfer Unit
Eligible Group: Humanities/ Science/ Business Studies, IGCSE/O Level and IAL/GCE A Level and Equivalent.
Total GPA: Humanities GPA 7.0, Science GPA 8.0 and Business Studies GPA 7.50.
SSC/Equivalent Result: Minimum, Science GPA 3.50, Arts GPA 3.0 and Commerce GPA 3.50.
HSC/Equivalent Result: Minimum, Science GPA 3.50, Arts GPA 3.0 and Commerce GPA 3.50.
Cha Unit Admission Requirements
Cha Unit Subject List: Faculty of Arts, Drawing and illustration, Graphic design, Printmaking, Pottery, Sculpture, Crafts, and History of Art.
Eligible Group: Any Group.
Total GPA: GPA 6.50
SSC/Equivalent Result: Minimum GPA 3.0.
HSC/Equivalent Result: Minimum GPA 3.0.
Dhaka university admission test 2021
In the case of IGCSE / O Level and IAL / GCE A Level Candidate: Students who have passed at least 5 subjects in the IGCSE / O Level Examination from 2014 to 2017 and at least two subjects in the IAL / GCE A-Level Examination in 2019. IGCSE / O Level and IAL / GCE A Level should have at least B-grade in 4 subjects and C-grade in 3 subjects respectively, out of 7 subjects.
Candidates holding the same Foreign Certificate / Diploma may apply with the permission of the concerned unit head. But only if equality is determined by the faculty concerned, they will be able to take the admission test. In addition, all the candidates have to fulfill the other conditions prescribed by the respective unit.
admission.eis.bu.ac.bd 2020-21 Application Process
The applicant has to complete all the admission test related activities through the University admission website. Admission guidelines, notices, and links to all the units of Dhaka University applicants can be found on this site. Before applying to any unit, read the admission guidelines and website guidelines thoroughly. Also, read the yellow box instructions on each page.
To apply for admission in any unit, you have to click on the ‘Application / Login‘ button of the admission website of Dhaka University.
After clicking on the ‘Apply / Login’ button provides the Applicant’s Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination Roll Number, Passing Year and Board Name and click on the Next button. On the next page if you can see Secondary and Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examination information and eligible subject list then click on the ‘Proceed‘ button.
If the applicant has not already applied to a unit, the website will ask for a formal picture, personal mobile number and quota information of the applicant’s specified format. However, if you have already applied to any unit, you will not have to re-enter the information. HSC from BKSP only Students will be able to apply for player quota.
If the pictures and other information are given then you will be asked to confirm them on the next page. To confirm, the applicant should send an SMS from any mobile operator’s number to 16321. The applicant will be able to see the SMS format on that page. On sending the SMS, the applicant will receive a confirmation code of 7 (seven) letters in return. After placing this confirmation code at the designated place of the applicant page, click on the ‘Confirm‘ button.
The correct confirmation code will be displayed on the main application page (applicable to all units). Through this page, the applicant will be able to collect the receipt to deposit fees of all the units in which the applicant is eligible to apply. To apply to any of the units click on the ‘Application‘ button next to the unit. After clicking on the ‘Application’ button, a green tick will be displayed in the ‘Application’ button. A Payment Slip download link will be available of that unit to deposit the application fee. Apart from this, the applicant will also be able to know the admission test or seat layout, results, etc. for all the units of his application.
Downloaded the Payment Slip and print. The payment slip will have two parts; The above is part of the applicant and the bottom is part of the bank.
Warning: The applicant’s part of the deposit is not the admission admit card. The portion of the receipt of the deposit cannot be used as an alternative to the examination admit card.
You should check the details of the receipt of the deposit and the picture of the applicant is correct. Then, the applicant signed on the slip. Now you have to deposit the admission test fee, online service fee and bank charge of the five state-owned commercial banks (Janata, Sonali, Agrani, and Rupali). The payment slip must be properly stored for future use.
If the university receives payment via Bank then you can see a green tick mark in the payment column. After that, you can download your admission admit card.
Applicants who pass the IGCSE (O Level) and A-Level (A level) can deposit application fees using the Equivalent ID (Provided by Dean’s Office) instead of secondary / Secondary roll number.

Dhaka University Admission result 2020-21 will be uploaded to the DU Notice Board of official website (admission.eis.du.ac.bd). Visit this site and look a the left side Link Menu. Click on “নোটিশ” menu to see all notices of DU. If you want you can select individual unit notice from the drop-down menu.

Important Condition for DU Admission Test
All electronic devices are also prohibited in the DU admission exam center. Detailed information can be found on the website (admission.eis.du.ac.bd).
Intelligence surveillance will be strengthened to prevent fraud in the admission test.
The mobile court will activate during the Dhaka University admission test. If there is evidence of fraud against anyone, strict action will be taken.
Referring to the changes in the admission test for the next academic year, the Vice-Chancellor said, there is no change in the admission test this year. But some changes are coming from next year. The academic committee has instructions for this.
