DU Admission Test 2018-19 online applications process has started. Dhaka University admission test online application has begun on 31st July. In the current academic year, online application process for admission into 1st year (honors) program in Dhaka University under DU admission 2018-19 has begun.
At 5 pm on Tuesday at the central admission office of the administrative building of the university, the Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the admission process for online application.
Professor Nasrin Ahmad, Pro-VC (Education), Dhaka University, Professor Muhammad Samad, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Hasibur Rashid, convener of the online admission committee, Professor Shibli Rubiatul Islam, Dean of Business Faculty, Professor Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain, Dean of Faculty of Arts, Professor ASM Maksud Kamal, Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Science, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Nisar Hossain, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Acting Registrars and concerned officials were present in the Dhaka University admission starting program.
DU Admission Details Information
In inauguration of the DU admission process, the Vice-Chancellor said, this year the eligibility of student’s application has been remain as last year. This year, 20 seats have been increased.
It was informed at the press conference that the total number of seats in the five units of the university is 7,128 in this academic session.
1,750 seats in Science Faculty under ‘KA’ unit (A-unit)
2,378 seats in Humanities Faculty under ‘KHA’ unit (B-unit)
1,250 seats in Business Faculty under ‘GA’ unit (C-unit)
1,615 seats in Combined Faculty under ‘GHA’ unit (D-unit)
1,35 seats in Fine Arts Faculty under ‘CHA’ unit (E-unit)
Last year, there were 7,108 seats. As calculation, this year 20 seat increases. These seats have increased in the Department of Japanese Studies and Geography and Environment said university vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Md Akhtaruzzaman. He said 10 seats have been increased in two divisions.
DU Admission Test Time Schedule
As always, this year Dhaka University admission test will be held under five units. DU admission 2018-19 starts with GA Unit and end with GHA unit.
VC said on the date of admission test is accordingly below,
‘KA’ unit DU admission test will be held on September 28, Friday, 10 am to 11:30 am
‘KHA’ unit DU admission test will be held on September 21, Friday, 10 am to 11 am
‘GA’ unit DU admission test will be held on September 14, Friday, 10 am to 11 am
‘GHA’ unit DU admission test will be held on October 12, Friday, 10 am to 11 am
‘CHA’ unit DU admission test (General Knowledge) will be held on September 15, Saturday, 10 am to 11 am and drawings test will be on 22 September, Saturday, 10 am to 11:30 am.
DU Admission Test Admit Card Collection Time
‘KA’, ‘KHA’ and ‘GHA’ unit admit card can be downloaded from 10th September to 9 am on the exam day.
‘GA’ and ‘CHA’ unit admit card can be downloaded from 5th September to 9 am on the exam day.

DU Admission Requirement
To apply Dhaka university admission test online application one have to meet the minimum score. The eligibility of applying to different units of Dhaka University admission test is as below.
‘KHA’ unit: Total GPA 7.0; Minimum 3 in SSC exam and HSC exam individually.
‘GA’ unit: Total GPA 7.5; Minimum 3.5 in SSC exam and HSC exam individually.
‘GHA’ unit: Total GPA 8.0 for Science Faculty, 7.0 for Arts Faculty and 7.5 for Commerce Faculty.
‘CHA’ unit: Total GPA 6.5 (including 4th subject) in secondary and higher secondary examination; Minimum 3.0 in SSC exam and HSC exam individually.
Admission Application Fee: DU Admission Test fee is 350/- including Bank service charge and online service fee.
Application Fee Deposit Deadline: The last date for money deposit is August 28.
Examination procedure: DU Admission test will be in MCQ and the number will be cut for every wrong answer.
Application Deadline: It is further reported that the online admission application process will begin at 5:30 pm on July 31 and will continue till 12 noon on August 26.
Concern Bank Name for Application Fee Deposit: This year, admission test fees can be deposited in any branch of four state-owned banks – Sonali, Agrani, Janata and Rupali Bank.
Important Condition for DU Admission Test
All electronic devices are also prohibited in the DU admission exam center. Detailed information can be found on the website (admission.eis.du.ac.bd).
Intelligence surveillance will be strengthened to prevent fraud in the admission test.
The mobile court will activate during the Dhaka University admission test. If there is evidence of fraud against anyone, strict action will be taken.
Referring to the changes in the admission test for the next academic year, the Vice Chancellor said, there is no change in the admission test this year. But some changes are coming from next year. The academic committee has instructions for this.
Referring to the danger zone for fraud, he said, we are always careful about these centers. This time it will be.
