How To Remember What You Read For Long Time

It is the common problems for someone, can’t remember or forgets studying. Don’t worry I am here to give a solution about how to remember what you read for long time. This is almost everyone complains. It is difficult to find someone who does not have this frustration with studying. However, do not frustrate the matter. It is possible to get rid of some of these troubles by following a few simple strategies. So today I will write about 10 simple strategies. Let’s learn the strategies to remember that you read.

Some techniques to remember what you read are given below. Read carefully and try to implement in your life to get success.

1. Walk 10 Minutes Before Sitting Down To Read

Walking for 10 minutes before starting to read or exercising lightly increases your brain capacity. It becomes easy to remember that you read. A study of the University of Illinois found that, walking 10 minutes before reading increases 10 percent of brain performance. Then start after a short walk to study.

2. Feeling Attracted To Reading

You have to make the attraction to reading that you going to read. Or try to read interesting ways. It will be easy to remember your topic. According to medical scientists, when people feel attracted to something, it easily transforms into memory in the brain, and it lasts for memory.

3. Use a Coloring or Marker Pen

Many of us are read with marking or Staining. This is also a very effective way to remember to read. For marking it increases the attraction and interest of a word or sentence. It also increases the visual impact of the brain which helps to remember the study. Using different colored highlighters can help to bring a lot of attention to the study

4. More Reading And Practicing

Our brain transforms transient memories into lasting memories only when they are repeatedly input. Repeated input gives structural changes to the brain’s memory structure, which helps to create long-lasting memories. So reading and practicing more often is one of the ways to remember reading.

5. Make It a Habit to Read With Drawing pictures

As you read things, writing or drawing draws interest in reading. Because according to NeuroScience, writing or drawing something stimulates most of the brain’s area and transforms the image or text into permanent memory. As a result, the reading is chronic in the brain. Generally, we remember most of the things that are explained in the book through pictures. Even during the examination, the picture of the book appears in front of the eye. So writing or drawing a picture is very effective.

6. Use the Concept Tree

Before reading a topic, it will be benefited if you can divide the chapters into several sections. This can be compared to a tree. Considering the tree as a chapter, start reading to make a summary of the parts on each page will be easy to remember of a task. This method is called the concept tree. This is quite useful to remember your studies.

7. Choosing The Right Time To Read:

Many people think, studying all night long can help to remember everything. This is a misconception. Because our brains may not always work the same way. Some studies have shown that after the afternoon, our brain’s effectiveness increases. Therefore, it is more effective to read in the evening or at night.

8. Make a Mnemonic

Our brain can’t remember the weird stuff. Therefore, if something is arranged in the form of a table or a list or read with the rhyme of a poem, it can be easily remembered. This technique of remembering reading is called mnemonic.

9. Get Enough Sleep

Several studies have shown that the brain turns any information into memory while sleeping. So it is important to have enough sleep as well as reading to remember something. Normally a healthy person should sleep for 8 hours in a day. Less sleeping reduces the ability to remember.

10. Teach Others What You read

This method has been popular since ancient times for remembering to read. Teaching others what you have read or learned can help to fix in the brain properly. Moreover, teaching others can reveal their own skills and it can also be understood whether the reading is well mastered.
