Types of JSC/JDC Scholarship
According to the education board and ministry, there are two types of JSC/JDC Scholarship.
- Talent Pool.
- General Grade.
Generally, it considers, those who get 90-95 marks each subject they expect talent poos scholarship. And, those who get 85 to 95 mark each subject they expect general grade scholarship. But this is not fixed. It depends on the education board’s authority decision.
Awards of scholarship students
- All talent pool and general grade scholarship students can continue their study free of tuition fees. All Government granted and education board listed any educational institute can take any tuition fees from a scholarship awarded students. If any institute receives any monthly tuition fees then legal action will be taken against those educational institutions for breach of rules.
- The merit scholarships receiving all students will get 450 Taka (Four Hundred Fifty Taka) per month. And general grade scholarship students will get 300 Taka (Three Hundred) every month.
- For buying books and other educational instruments, talent pool students will get 560 Taka (Five Hundred Sixty Taka) and general grade students will get 350 Taka (Three Hundred Fifty Taka) yearly as a grant.
- Both female and male students will be awarded the same facilities.
- The scholarship student will take their award for up to two years.
How Many Students Will Be Awarded For JSC/JDC Scholarship?
The number of awards for Scholarship is not fixed. Mainly education boars take the decision regarding this issue. For example, last year the education board provides around 40,000 scholarships. Among them, 9000 scholarships for talent pool students and 30,000 scholarships for general grade scholarship students.
Who are Qualified for the JSC Scholarship?
Qualification for the JSC scholarship depends on the individual education board. As per different board notices, the minimum qualification for scholarship is GPA 3.00.
Terms and Condition To Get JDC or JSC Scholarship
- As per government allocation and JSC exam result, the education board publishes the talent pool and general JSC scholarship result list.
- JSC scholarship distributes Upazila/Thana wise for passed and regular students. This awarded money will be given to, who are reading in class nine and class ten only.
- Scholarships are awarded based on the GPA (Grade Point Average)
- If some student’s GPA is same then it is considered the total marks of Bangla, English, and Math.
- The scholarship results are listed as per the height number to the lowest number. For uneven number scholarship, it is not considered male and female same distribution rule. In this case, the institute considers the height number.
- All scholarship students are eligible to withdraw their award money yearly at a time.
- Exam center changers who are eligible to get the scholarship. Those student’s scholarship will be given from the main institute’s allotments.
- The scholarship is given to the male and female students as per 50:50 ratio.
