BTEB Admission 2020 Last Date
Generally, the polytechnic admission date 2020 is the same for Private and Government Institutes. After releasing the SSC or Equivalent result, Bangladesh Technical Education Board publishes Polytechnic Admission Circular or engineering college admission circular.
As per the assumption BTEB Admission date will be started from the 2nd week of May 2020. You will get time to apply for 10 days to 20 days. Within 2 months the new semester class will be started.

Polytechnic Diploma Admission System
All students must apply BTEB online form fillup through the official website. This is the BTEB admission system in Bangladesh.
There will be no admission test in the candidate selection. This BTEB admission system is for the Polytechnic Diploma course. The candidate will be selected only on the basis of SSC or equivalent exam results.
The polytechnic admission form 2020 for admission must be submitted online. The application form for admission, admission guidelines and application rules can be found on the website of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Applicant’s photo must be uploaded (clear passport size color picture in JPEG format and under 100KB) which is clearly mentioned in polytechnic circular 2020.
In the case of the online application, the application fee of 150 Taka should be paid through Rocket or Bkash or Sure Cash. In the case of a Private Diploma in Engineering, a maximum of 10 technologies can be applied as per preference. Depositing fee you have to fill up your application form via www.btebadmission.gov.bd or www.bteb.gov.bd or www.techedu.gov.bd or www.tmed.gov.bd website.
For admission to other government diploma institutes, it will be necessary to pay 238 Taka to confirm admission or register through rockets, Bikash or Sure Cash.
Those who have passed from O level, their marksheet will be converted from the general education board as equal to the SSC. After that, they will be admitted following the merit sequence. Students should submit the marksheet from the General Board to the Technical Education Board.
Some quotas will be preserved. The female quota is 20%, SSC (vocational) 15%, minor ethnic group quota 2%, freedom fighter 5%, special needs student quota 5%, and 2% for children of officials or employees who are working in Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
BTEB Application Fee
There are two shifts in the Polytechnic institute. You can apply only once per shift. To apply in Online you have to pay 150 Taka (One Hundred Fifty Taka Only) per shift. That means if you want to apply for 1st shift and 2nd shift both then you will be needed 300 Taka (Three Hundred Taka only). Payment methods are Bkash (Brac Bank Ltd), Rocket (Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd) and Sure Cash (Rupali Bank Ltd). You are eligible to select the maximum of ten technologies only.
How To Pay BTEB Application Fee
There are many ways to pay the polytechnic diploma admission application fee. Such as Teletalk SIM, Bkash, Rocket, Sure Cash. You have to pay 150 BDT for each shift before the polytechnic admission date. If anyone wants to apply for 1st shift and 2nd shift both then he will need 300 BDT.

Here, BAR is the Barisal Board code. Others code are, Dhaka Board (DHA), Sylhet Board (SYL), Barisal Board (BAR), Chittagong Board (CHI), Comilla Board (COM), Dinajpur Board (DIN), Jessore Board (JES), Rajshahi Board (RAJ), Madrasha Board (MAD), Technical Board (TEC), Open University (BOU).
Here, 12345 is your SSC exam roll number.
Here, 2017 is your passing year.
Here, A is the shift code. Other Codes are, 1st Shift (A), 2nd Shift (B), Both Shift (C)
If you are eligible for the application then, you will be given an SMS. Where you can see Your Name, Your Father’s Name, PIN Code and tell you how much money you need. If you agree with this SMS then you have to send a 2nd message.

After a while, you will be given an SMS with a money receipt number. Save this money receipt number carefully, because it will be required during the online application.
Application Fee Payment Process Via Bkash App
Download Bkash App for your android phone.
- Step-1: Login your Bkash app and select Pay Bill Option.
- Step-2: From the bill list, select BTEB.
- Step-3: Write Payment Code: <Program Code><SSC Year><Board Code><SSC Roll No> (No need any space)
- Step-4: Type your contact number and then press the arrow key to go the next step.
- Step-5: Enter Amount of 150 Taka for a shift. Then press the arrow button.
- Step-6: See the summary of payment then tape on the arrow button to go next.
- Step-7: Insert your Bkash PIN number.
- Step-8: To finish your Pay Bill just press on the screen sometimes.
- Step-9: Finally, see the payment confirmation and then save your Transaction ID for the next usages.
Application Fee Payment Process Via Rocket
At first, dial *322# if you have any Rocket account.
- Screen 1: Press 1 to select the “Bill Pay” option.
- Screen 2: If this is your number then select “Self” otherwise select “Other” option.
- Screen 3: If you select the “Other” option then you have written your phone number in the next step.
- Screen 4: Press 0 to select the “Other” option.
- Screen 5: Write Biller ID 288.
- Screen 6: Now you have to write Shift, Passing Year, Board Code, and Roll No. No need to give any space. Example: A2019BAR12345.
- Screen 7: Enter the amount 150/300 BDT.
- Screen 8: Enter your Rocket PIN number.
Application Fee Payment Process Via Sure Cash
- Step-1: First Dial *495# and select “Payment” Option.
- Step-2: Write Payment Keyword “DTE“.
- Step-3: Write Shift, Year, Board and Roll. No need to give any space. Example A2019DHA123456.
- Step-4: Write your mobile number.
- Step-5: Amount and your given information will be shown here. Then insert your PIN number.
Within a few minutes, you will be given an SMS with a TXN number.
BTEB Online Form Fillup
You can get your application form on the official website www.btebadmission.gov.bd or www.bteb.gov.bd or www.tmed.gov.bd or www.techedu.gov.bd. You must have to provide all the correct information. Don’t worry. All instruction is given below.
1st Step
- At first, go to the BTEB admission official website www.btebadmission.gov.bd.
- You can see a list of programs. Click on any program.
- Now, you can find a new window. Click on “Apply Now” Button.
- Write Applicant Roll Number.
- Enter the Education Board.
- Type Passing Year.
- Last give Registration Number.
- Check your given information and click on the “Next” button.
2nd Step
In this stage, they will be verified your Payment. Enter your PIN number or TNX number or Transaction ID that given you during payment.
3rd Step
This is the window where you can see applicant information. Now, you have to upload your current and clear passport size photo. The photo size must be below 100KB. Further, you have to upload the necessary documents scan copy for quota only. When you can finish the uploading all documents go to the next step.
4th Step
Step 4 is the final stage. As per your applied shift you can see all institutes and technology lists. From the list, you can only select a maximum of 10 technologies. Also, you can select an extra technology. If an applicant is not selected in the expected technology then he can choose other technology in another institute if he sits available.
In the next step, after completing the selection he can see all the selection. If want, he can change his selection.
In the end, all the given information will be shown to you. If all correct then just finish or confirm the process.
Lastly, you will get an SMS with the Application ID and PIN Number. This information will help you to change your submitted information.
Candidate Selection
The candidate will be selected as per, SSC exam result, Serial of Selection, Quota, and other necessary conditions.
BTEB Admission Result 2020 Waiting List
According to the total number of seats, a waiting list will be prepared along with merit, choice order, and quota-based list.
According to merit, the organization will have the opportunity to migrate to the technology based on the preferred order.
According to the merit list, after the expiry of the admission deadline, a candidate from the waiting list can admit in the expected institute and technology if they have any vacancies. Waiting list candidate will be selected as per, in the order of merit, choice, and quota.
Polytechnic Admission Result 2020
After finishing the online application process, as per Technical Education Board rules and regulations, the BTEB admission result or diploma admission result will be sent to you via SMS.
Also, you can check your results online through www.btebadmission.gov.bd. In this case, you have to log in to your account using your User ID (Applicant ID) and Security Code.
The result publishing date will be published by Technical Education Board Notice.
